A mother of two children from a poor village decided to ask the local church for help through their lending program because her husband’s job did not provide enough income to cover their expenses. With the money lent her through the church, the woman began to sell fruits and vegetables, which provided the family enough extra income to cover their children’s educational expenses as well as pay back the lending service. Donations of $35 or $70 help native ministries provide opportunities such as this to poor families. Pray those who benefit from this outreach see Jesus at work in their lives and put their faith in Him.
“Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.” (Psalm 79:9)
