Even among a staunch Muslim population, people in the war-torn country show a readiness to hear and respond to the gospel. Bringing compassion and hope to those who know Christ and to those who have never heard of Him, native workers are helping the displaced, teaching the Bible and planting churches. Local missionaries eager to increase their own knowledge of the Lord have seen an increase in transformed lives among those they’re serving; over a six-month span, they shared the gospel with 5,400 people. Local missionaries need donations of $25 or $50 to proclaim Christ and disciple new believers. Pray for more leaders to be trained to grow a network of house groups.
