Native missionaries understand the challenges of bringing Christ to people firmly rooted in the traditional religions of their cultures. But they also know that they must persevere for the sake of the gospel, and they do so with joy in their hearts. Each moment of their ministry, whether it be wiping the brow of a refugee child or discipling a family who has decided to follow Jesus, is filled with hope that another soul might accept the salvation Christ offers.
